Wicked

After getting these tickets just over 1 Year ago the time has finally come.

So after an horrendous drive in traffic was absolutely awful. So here I am sat her in the Bristol hippodrome watching Wicked. I have to say it was very very good.

Wicked Overview
Winner of 100 international awards, Wicked has been casting its magical spell over audiences across the world for a decade and continues to break records at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, where it is now the 10th longest-running show in the West End.

In a brilliantly witty re-imagining of the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Synopsis:-

10cc smashed onto the music scene back in 1972, when their first single ‘Donna’ reached number 2 in the UK music Charts. Over the next few years, the band topped the charts with the singles ‘I’m Not In Love’, ‘Rubber Bullets’ and ‘Dreadlock Holiday’, along with a string of top 10 hits. Over 40 year since their first single, 10cc have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and continue to have a loyal fanbase which includes stars such as Chrissie Hyde, Dan Gillespie of The Feeling and Axl Rose, who counts ‘I’m Not in Love’ as one of his favourite songs of all time.
‘I’m Not In Love’ in particular has taken on a life of it’s own. In 1993, Will To Power hit the Top 10 in the UK with its version of the song. Over the years it has been recorded variously by The Pretenders (for the film Indecent Proposal), Peggy Lee, Richie Havens, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, and most recently The Flaming Lips, and was also featured in the film Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
