Slapstick week - Bristol

It's slapstick week in Bristol I have spent some of Saturday afternoon / evening watching some interesting comedy classics / moments.

Started at the watershed where Bill Oddie with Chris Searle presented Bill's top comedy moments. This was great as Tim brook Taylor and Graham Garden were present in the audience. Bill recounted his working relationships with some of the comic talents of his generation.

Then followed this with a special screening of Monty pythons life of Brian at the Colston hall.This included an introduction from Terry Jones.

This was followed with a question and answer session with Terry Jones and Sanjeev Bhaskar to discuss the film and Terry's role as Actor/Director.
